Hand Washing

Hand Washing

WASH YOUR HANDS

Wash, wash, wash your hands
Play our handy game.
Rub and scrub, and scrub and rub.
Germs go down the drain.  HEY!
Wash, wash, wash your hands
Play our handy game.
Rub and scrub, and scrub and rub.
Dirt goes down the drain.  HEY!

Hello children! We are the new teachers for today, Helen and Ann. Who have washed their hands today?

Do you know it is very important?

Why? Because if you have your little hands dirty, and you touch your mouth with your hands you can get sick. Let’s see.
How do you wash your hands? First, we need hot water, don’t we? And next…? Soap…Very good!!!
What do we do with soap?

Shall we do bubbles? Yes, but also, we rub our hands.
How do you do it? Rub hands palm to palm, clean the backs of your hands and between the little fingers, and then rinse them.
Finally, how do we finish our hand-washing? You must dry your hands.
When do you wash your little hands?
-         Before and after lunch
-         After going to the bathroom
-         After playing
-         After coughing and sneezing
-         After touching animals
And now we are going to sing a song while we wash our little hands together, right?
